I'm in a funk right now my computer is sickly and so am I. Well I guess I'd better keep my spirits up. So for all you out there who are currently residing in Funk Town, here ya go. Chin up. :)
One Sunday the preacher was preaching a sermon on forgiveness. He asked the congregation how many people were willing to forgive their enemies in accordance to what God had commanded them to do. Only a few of the congregation raised their hands in response to his question. Again, he asked the question: "Who among you is willing to forgive someone for treating you unfairly or doing something bad to you?" And again, in response to his question all but one member of the congregation raised their hand.
Way in the back Sister Sarah sat. Sister Sarah was a frail, white-haired, 90 year old petite, soft-spoken lady. "Sister Sarah, exclaimed the preacher, "Come on up to the alter and tell us how in all of your many years on this earth you've managed to have not one enemy that you needed to forgive." Well, after she made her way slowly but surely to the alter the preacher asked her again. "Sister Sarah tell us how you managed to have not one enemy that you needed to forgive in your long life."
Sister Sarah calmly and ever so sweetly declared: "Because I outlived the bitches!"
Now THAT's honesty
Take care all. {hugs}

Sister Sarah's awesome!
That reminds me of a joke. There was a guy in Tibet who was 130 years old, and in the Guiness Book of World's Records for the oldest living person. He lived on top of a mountain, so it wasn't easy to greet him.
So an American reporter with his crew scaled the mountain to get to him. Everything went wrong. One of the crew died and when they got there, everyone was in a sour mood.
"So, tell me Sir, how did you live to be so old?"
"Never, ever argue," the old man said.
"What? I came up all the way up here to hear that crap? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!"
The old man just smiled and said "maybe you're right."
Hehehe! The Tibetan proved his point by proving his point heh? Thanks for the joke and the wisdom. Have a great day! ;)
