Welcome to My Nightmare...

....I hope I didn't scare you. Hehe! It's Friday night and everthing's alright except for the fact that I have nothing better to do on a Friday night than write in my blog. Weep for me.:p It's strange, I have this Alice Cooper song stuck in my head.(Welcome to My Nightmare) Such nonsensical sayings hath passed through my lips on such a night as this.

I'm kind of excited, the seller of the house I was working on purchasing excepted my offer...finally!!! Now, all I have to do is get it inspected, come up with the down payment and or closing cost, and move in. **"Oh snap, is that all?!" I say facetiously**

Somehow I have to come up with funds to take a musical tour of Scotland as well. I guess I'll just pick it off my money tree. Oh, but the tour sounds awesome. Well, it's cool for me, since I write lyrics...meeting other song writers, learning about Scotland's musical heritage, what's not to love? Not to mention the fact that I will get to see my friends. She and her hubby are a hoot...and her whole family are darn good folk. I'm so excited, I have until June to come up with the money for the trip. **"Is that all?!" I say facetiously.**

You guessed it kiddies it's time for another round of "IT BOGGLES THE MIND"
My mother and I were watching a local TV personality, and he was feeding his viewers a line of shoo-shoo. My mother looks at me and says, "What a load of Bologna?" I said, "Yeah, he's full of it." She looks at me again, and in all her infinite practical wisdom says, "Well he went to college for a long time." "It just goes to show that just because you're smart doesn't mean you can't be stupid." Brows

Au revour mes amee(of course I mispelled that) Ha!

Ah, it was here where I heard that. I haven't said that in almost a decade and now I'm saying it again. :p

Is this your first home purchase? Either way, congratulations. Now you have a stake life, a piece of the American pie.

Thanks for your great review of my short story. Really. It made my day.

One of my goals in life is to write a song on my guitar. Everything that I put out sounds so vanilla--not that I've given it any real effort.

Did you see Rock Star INXS? One of the contestants Marty wrote a song called Trees that can probably be heard on the show's website. I was in awe of his writing ability.

Thanks again Moni.

Yes Scott it is my first house purchase and I must say I'm about to pull my hair by the roots over the amount of, "jumping through hoops," I have to do. Hopefully it will be worth it.

And as far as your story goes, I really meant it...you should have a publisher look at some of your work. You never know until you try. ;)

One of your goals in life is to write a song on your guitar? I'm sure you'll accomplish that goal. Ha! One of my goals in life is to not torture my guitar...can't get those bar chords down.

No, I didn't see Rock Star INXS, but I wanted to. There certainly are some talented people discovered on those shows.

~~~later~~ and WRITE ON! :)
