Turkey Day!

Now my friends I know you're hungry for a tasty morsel of the Moni wit. (this is sarcasm people). Now laugh damn it! I have nothing to say except for this. I wish all of my cyber buddies and all happenstance readers a very peaceful and happy Thanksgiving. I wrap my cyber arms around you and your families and give you a great big (((hug)))!

And I will subject you to some of my lousy poetry. I've been told that my regular poetry is too deep and melancholy..so here ya go, something light and fluffy.

Turkey Day

There is a time for everything under Heaven,
a time for cooking,
a time for table setting,
a time for stuffing yourself until your buttons pop,
a time for getting together with relatives;
whether you care to or not,
a time to sit at the "kiddie" table although you're 30-something
years old,
a time to ask Aunt Sue for the stuffing recipe that she's never
ever told.
a time to watch football even though you haven't a clue,
what a quaterback, tightend, and fullback actually do.
a time to be thankful, to reflect, and to be with the ones
you love.
a time to tell Tom Turkey, "Your time's up bub!"

I know, it sucks on ice. ;P
And with that said, I ammmmm outtta here. ;)

Yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!
Won't be watching football because the Packers aren't on. I think we'll be going to a potluck. :)

Zombie will however be glued to the television tonight for the big matchup with the Vikings. The season for my Cowboys is defined on Thanksgiving day when we meet the Broncos.

Sorry, we definitely are football fans in our house.

Cherish--thanks for visiting and the holiday wishes.

ZS--No football for you? A man who doesn't watch football unless his team is playing...how you say? ;) I hope the Packers won. Have fun at the potluck.

Scott--yours and Zombie's football appreciation is lost on me. I have a confession to make...I fake football! Yes, that's right thousands of women do around this time of year. ;P Have fun and I hope the Cowboys win.

My wife faked me too. She pretended to be a football fan, then a Packers fan (which isn't all bad in my book), but then I found out she is really just a Brett Favre fan. Fine. At least she has good taste.

Scott--it's rightly so that your wife should like Brett Farve...he's a hottie. A hottie in skin tigh football pants. hehehe!

Heh. I'm going to show this thread to Mrs. Z. I wonder if she fakes football and only roots for the Packers because she thinks Favre is hot too. She never did tell me.
