Lidocaine and Lollipops

Why the title? I like the way it sounds; numb me up and give me some candy! Yep, I'm beginning to pull myself out of the funk. Oh no, no, no don't funk with my heart...Hehe! More Blackeyed Peas please.

Moving on--I'm still in the process of moving. Yes I know I've been saying I'm moving for a while now. I mean it this time I'm out the door...and into my own house. Well, not really my house; actually the bank owns it, but I have the luxury of calling it mine and being in debt for the next 20 years, ha! Scary stuff, but I'd rather do that than give the money to someone else. I've got a lot of work to do on the house, it's not a new house. I'll muddle through I guess.

  • I always feel like somebody's watching me
  • --or in this case listening to me. Am I the only one who feels as though President Bush is committing an illegal act by being able to wire tap anyone he feels like without a warrant? Like it's not an infringement of our IV Amendment rights? Once we deviate from the Constitution it opens the flood gates of chaos. I know some may argue that the Constitution is outdated and inpending circumstances qualify the powers that be to ignore it. What about our individual freedom? I could go on about this, but I won't. What do you think..legal or illegal? (for some reason the above link is not a direct link..just click on "Spy Controversy")

Quote of the day---"It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not."

Sorry Zombie, it was there and now it's not. Ha! I guess I should have gotten my "s" straight. It was a link from the News Wire discussing the controvery on 4th Amendment rights and Bush's abilitiy to tap civilians without a warrant. I'll post more on this subject later so stay tuned. (((hugs))
