Run With Faith

Look what I found, or should I say listen to what I found? I thought I lost it, but it turns out that my parents had it. I wrote this along with my friend R.T. She wrote the music and I wrote the lyrics, she's the one singing.

I hope this inspires

Thanks for sharing the song.

I like the line "Your timing is not my own." Sometimes we wait like what seems to be forever for an answer and when we don't get it, we lose hope and faith.

It's an easy listening song, for the times when we are deeply depressed and push Jesus and God out of our minds and instead fill it with sad thoughts, disappointments etc.

blue--you're welcome, but I fear it has not inspired. ;)

sorry I haven't listened to this yet. I've been wicked busy as they say here in the Boston area. But I will, I promise!

Who is playing the guitar? This is a wonderful song. Lyrics are sweet, and the singing reminds me of the Indigo Girls. Love the harmonies. Don't lose this again. The church I've been going to would love a song like this, since they play guitar and sing all the time.

Scott--Thanks for listening. You know it's not mandatory that you listen whenever I post one of my songs. ;) I won't give you 40 lashes for it if you don't. You will receive 50 instead. ;p

As for the guitar players, I wish I could say it was me, but I merely torture my guitar...poor thing. The main melody guitar(riffs) was played by a gentleman named Doyle Wood; he owns the studio where we recorded. And my friend R.T. played accompanying acoustical guitar.

On keyboard was a gentleman who toured with B.J. Thomas, and the drums were played by a gentleman who was a former member of the band Nantucket. I'm sorry to say I can't remember their names.

I'm an amatuer, but I did have the benefit of working with some real professionals. They were great and made the experience so much fun!

Glad you liked the song. ;)

g-dude--just as we can open our minds to the possiblities of overcoming geographical distances to connect to another human spirit, we can open our minds to connect with our creator.

And this is why: LOVE, be it eros, familial, spiritual, or just unconditional for human kind; CONQUERS ALL.

"The song made me think, I can pay it no greater compliment than that." Yes, and I can receive no greater compliment than that. :)
