Well it's rainy and unseasonably cold here and I guess I should be happy about the current weather. Afterall, it was a welcomed break from the soaring temperatures just the week prior, that was so akin to living 10 feet from hell. I hope Florida isn't getting hammered.
Now, on to the preposterous land of pop culture obsession. Believe it or not it seems that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes'(TomKat) baby daughter's poop has been given a tribute and set in bronze. Yep, it's true. The fecal folly; not a real poop just comemerative poop, will be on exhibit in a museum and then auctioned off on Ebay. I know parents are proud, but this is ludicrous. Bronze your baby's first shoes, pacifier, even tooth, but for the love of all that's decent, don't bronze their poop. Anybody who's ever had to change a few thousand diapers will tell you that it's not endearing, it's human waste people! I'm sick of the celebrity's offspring being heralded like the second coming of the Messiah.
And in the immortal words of Forrest Gump, "It happens," "And that's all I have to say about that."

Wow. That is preposterous. The first poop? The first poop outside a diaper I could understand.
I don't know how you would bronze the first poop outside the diaper...maybe fish it out of the potty. Oh wow I've just taken this conversation to a new low.
