Whew! What a beginning to a year?! Lots and lots of stuff happening here! My trip to NY forced me to make little changes to my life and the way I view things. One good thing is that I became a Vegetarian. Yeah, yeah I know. How could this be? This from a woman who's personally mantra is Jimmy Buffet's, "Cheeseburger in Paradise." I have no qualms with filleting, frying, and fricasseeing animals that, cluck, moo, or oink. Slap 'em on a plate baby and give me a fork! No offense to the Veggies that consider it a ethical decision though. :)
It's just that my friend; the one I was visiting, is a Vegetarian. It was a week without meat and I actually began to feel a lot better. So, since the first part of January I've been meatless. Still can't get into tofu though. Ah well, everything in due time I suppose.
Oh, and to my Cajun friends, Laissez le bon temps roulet! Oops, I think that might be a bit late. I think today is Fat Tuesday. :)

I hope everything is ok. I saw your last post, and somebody has really stepped over the line!
Current post - Going vegetarian is good. According to some religious teachings, doing away with unnecessary killing for food is a positive thing to do. I read somewhere that being a vegetarian has a lot of health benefits too. By the way, chocolates are considered vegetarian food.
Previous post - I hope that person who went so low down has redeemed him/herself. The things some people do !!
Scott--that's what I thought too. :) Long story about previous post, but hopefully it will get back to them and they'll do the right thing.
Blue--thank God chocolate is allowed, otherwise I just couldn't do it. :) As I stated to Scott, maybe that person will do the right thing, if not; what goes aroudn comes around.
