Bust a Rhyme

The first is dedicated to my favorite unpretentious, uber talented, actor who just became a daddy. No, it's not TomKat, or Brangelina...please! Congrats Mr. Boyd!

Exquisite Tomorrow

If I had but one chance to prove my existence
one chance to see a continuation
of the light that leads onward
it would be sentineled in your softness, your newness,
your uniqueness
rendering the promise of a new foundation
that was me and now is you
touching the face of beautiful inheritance
you are counted as a brilliant blessing
Tomorrow is exquisite...tomorrow you learn, I lead, and we love
.

And this, just because...

Bound

to be
bound to dream without sleep
a room without keep
and languages only lovers
speak
with me.

with me...
down the road of a heart traveled
thread of dreams unraveled
chasing your presence
on a path damp with tears
cold "use to be's" and told "remember when's"
memories that won't end.
to be...bound.

First poem - lovely. I am sure Jack William will be a brilliant blessing to his parents.

Second poem - read it over and over again. "Memories that won't end" is stuck in my mind.

Blue--Thank you. Are you a fan of Mr. Boyd's or the Lord of the Rings Tilogy too? You knew the baby's name or did you look it up? ((hugs))

Scott--Thank you. ((hugs))

Yes (head hanging) I am a fan of the LOTR. I can't recall how many times I watched it with my son on DVD. I googled and found the baby's name - but no photos.

It's okay Blue I am a fan also. J.R.R. Tolkien was brilliant and not far behind him is Peter Jackson. Three major movies filming all at once. Wow! :)
